Weight Loss Workout Log – Day 1 of my first 90 day cycle

Well, it’s day 1 of my first “documented” 90 day cycle. I’ve already started some healthy habits and now it’s time to put all of the pieces of the puzzle together. However, I did have a few inconsistencies and stumbling blocks over the past weekend that have half way negated my efforts. It’s amazing how fast my birthday weekend let my bad habits sneak back into my life. I’ll give you a quick glimpse just to reminisce and get it out of my system.

Lobster and truffle pot pie could be my new favorite food. Kobe beef topped with foie gras is the most delicious way to put your yearly requirement of fat into your body with a single plate. An Aurelio’s Pizza just opened up in Vegas on Eastern for all of you people who know it from Chicagoland. I love eggs benedict and a bloody mary….. or three. Sushi was the healthiest thing I ate this 4 day weekend. Liquid bread (beer), grape juice (wine), and bug juice (Campari and soda) were all consumed heavily, yet I still managed to drink a gallon of water daily. Hooray for small victories! And turning 32.

That’s enough of that. Let’s get to the better stuff. The being a kid stuff. The childish energy stuff. I was going to start this blog tomorrow, but I got so excited that I couldn’t wait. Giddy with excitement. Just like a kid! Ha, It’s funny how that works.

First off I’d like to accomplish a few thing by the end of my 90 days and I’m going to measure my success in a variety of ways. Weight, appearance, strength, abilities, stamina, and cardiovascular health. I’ve also got a few personal records from my childhood and young adulthood that I would like to best. And I’ve got a few thing that are part of My Life List that I’d like to scratch off too.

I’m excited and that’s really step one. Step two is maintaining that excitement and enjoying how it affects my energy. I’ve got a girlfriend who just got home from work and quality time is being called for. That’s all for now, but I’ll pick back up tomorrow after I get back from the gym. Yeeeeaaaaah! The Gym!

Tomorrow’s To Do List

  • Up at 6am and walk the dog
  • Gym at 7am for my back to basics workout and condition testing (more details tomorrow)
  • Drink a gallon of water
  • Eat 3 meals and 3 snacks
  • Supplement
  • Be Awesome
  • Be Excited
