Weight Loss Workout Log – Day 10 of my 2nd 90 day Cycle.

So the soreness of yesterdays workout is pretty brutal…

This is the first day after a heavy workout and usually you get a free day before it really hurts. Tomorrow I’ll be paying heavy for the intense workout yesterday.

Today I started my workout with some advil. heheh

Then I took it light and ran for 20 minutes then did some laps in the pool for another 30 minutes.

Regarding the movement: I am trying to get the blood flowing and after moving I certainly feel better but I’m still feeling very sore already… so tomorrow will be very bad…

Learning to deal with this kind of pain increases your tolerance for abuse. In the end the higher you tolerance for this type of eustress (this isn’t distress on your body it is eustress that builds you up) is really what you want to create a lot of.

Break your body down and build it back even better… (This is what exercise is all about) This is what you need to wrap your mind around when it comes to working out.

Being comfortable makes us soft and fat… being uncomfortable by working hard makes us lean and strong… pain is the indicator that you’re doing a good job. Don’t get me wrong I’m not a sadistic person but you must know that pain from a workout is rewarding… not the kind of pain you want to avoid.
