Weight Loss Workout Log – Day 3 and 4 of my first 90 day cycle

Day 3 went as planned.  I was awesome and excited all day. And I hiked 3 miles in Ice Box Canyon.

Day 4 is Saturday and it’s a rest day. I’ve decided that Saturday and Sunday will be my rest days, rather than coinciding my off days with my off work days. For me, when I have a day off work, I usually allow myself to sleep in. That starts my day pleasantly, but it also sets a loaf and lazy kind of mood for the day. Again, pleasant, but generally unrewarding. So I’ve decided that my workout rest days will follow my longest and latest work days. Saturday and Sunday.

Now on my days off, usually Tuesday and Wednesday, I’ll get my days off to a jumpstart with an early morning workout. This will prove to be productive for me as I always feel energized and accomplished after the gym.

Tomorrow, Sunday, Da 5, is a rest day. Of course, there will be a long morning walk with the dog to get his day going and mine too.

Monday puts me back in the gym to have a back to basics foundation leg day. I’m looking forward to it.

Hey, here’s something cool that I realized as I always have a meal replacement shake with me at work so I can eat every four hours. Rather than having some cool shwing-a-ding water bottle or thermos with me, I’ve started using my empty Arrowhead water bottles instead. I always have them on hand for when I’m on the go. So now I recycle them when I’m finished. I let them dry out and then fill them with my meal replacement powder (buy a funnel in the automotive department fo $.99 to make filling easier, or make a paper funnel). Now I don’t have to worry about washing them out after I use them. Or remembering to take them home for that matter.

I don’t know if you’ve ever forgotten to wash out a bottle after drinking a shake, but I have, too many times. And somehow it seems like no amount of washing can get that leftover spoiled smell out of a bottle that sat unwashed for too long. Ooooooh it’s horrible even opening them after they sit overnight.

Later. Be Awesome.
